The Western Arthur Range

This range of mountains is located in the South West National Park.
It is regarded as being the finest ridgetop traverse in Australia
and takes most parties 8 to 10 days to walk including approach
and departure routes.
It was heavily glaciated in the last ice age and as a result has an extremely
rugged topography with many alpine tarns and very dramatic scenery.
